A fast, practical workshop on understanding resistance profiles and using them to make smarter programming decisions for stronger shoulders.
Where is an exercise actually hardest—and why does that matter?
In this practical workshop, we’ll break down resistance profiles: where a lift is heaviest throughout the range of motion and how that interacts with muscle position, from lengthened to shortened.
Then we’ll put those concepts into practice with the front, lateral, and rear delts using dumbbells, cables, and bands. Expect clear explanations, quick demonstrations, and take-home exercise pairings you can plug directly into your own workouts or classes.
In This Workshop, You’ll Learn How To:
-
Understand resistance profiles and muscle positioning and how the two work together throughout an exercise.
-
Change the resistance profile without changing equipment using simple adjustments to exercise setup and execution.
-
Build a more balanced shoulder workout using practical programming strategies for the front, lateral, and rear delts.
